Hilary Bradbury, Ph.D.

hilaryHilary Bradbury, Ph.D., is a scholar-practitioner with a focus on the human and organizational dimensions of creating healthy communities. Hilary is co-principal of Integrating Catalysts and founding member of Action Inquiry Associates. She has extensive experience developing talent and enhancing profitability. Her expertise with leadership coaching and facilitation of organizational learning has developed since 1994 through work with BP, Disney, Greater Los Angeles Community College, Harley Davidson, Mattel, Nike, OHSU, Port of LA, US Landscapers Assoc., Waste Management, among others. Over the years she has benefited from the mentorship of Bill Torbert and Peter Senge and today she uniquely combines leadership development with organizational learning. Hilary was born in Dublin and educated to Master’s level at Trinity College from which she proceeded to graduate philosophy study at Harvard and University of Chicago. She earned her PHD at Boston College in Organization Studies, with a focus on organizational change. Today, in addition to consulting practice, she is Professor at OHSU and Visiting Professor of action research for the doctoral programs of the Business School of Lausanne. Hilary is also editor-in-chief of Action Research Journal and convenes the global commons at AR+, an international network of participatory action researchers. Her scholarly articles have appeared in Organization Science, Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Sloan Management Review & Journal of Management Inquiry, among others.
